Asia Adventure travel has been our business for nearly 10 years. Our president Taylor Warnick began his travel career working for one of the most reputable Asia tour operators in the United States, since then, he has outfitted adventures to every country in Asia. Now, Asia travel is Taylor's (and our) solitary passion. We have been sending both seekers and sages to the 'Roof of the World' since 2001.
From start to finish, Mandala Adventures has developed a reputation for excellent customer service for each guest. In 2003, 63% of our business came via referrals and we are pleased to serve our growing repete guests. Since we serve a range of Asian destinations, we have many guests who have traveled with us on numerous trips across the vast continent.
Mandala Adventures offers a wide range of small-group scheduled departures and offers custom trip consultation and planning. In fact, 50% of our business is of the custom variety.
Our understanding of unique and sometimes complicated rubrics of Asian travel encompasses a vast network. Our partners in eight locations across Asia—Kathmandu, Lhasa, Delhi, Thimpu, Bangkok, Beijing, Denpasar and Ulaanbaatar—have years of experience in organizing and outfitting unique travel programs. They continually keep an eye on the local scene with regard to public security, government policy and weather, all of which may affect your trip.
Every member of our talented staff at Mandala Adventures's headquarters in Salt Lake City shares a passion for travel and cultural diversity—as well as an infatuation for Utah's exquisite powder snow, its Canyonlands and soaring peaks.
